BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 9. Kazakhstan has banned export of certain types of timber, Trend reports citing Kazakh State Revenues Committee.
The ban was introduced staring from June 8 in order to develop the woodworking industry and prevent illegal re-export of timber from Kazakhstan.
This order is valid for six months. Previously a similar ban was valid from December 7, 2021 to June 7, 2022.
