Cultural Voices of Regina brings community stories to air

An active member of the Azerbaijani community in Canada, Rena Farajova, head of the Regina Azerbaijani Cultural Association, has begun hosting the program “Cultural Voices of Regina” on AccessNow Community Radio.

The program highlights the multicultural environment, cultural richness, and diverse personal stories of people living in Regina. It shares the experiences, challenges, and achievements of different communities, contributing to stronger public dialogue and mutual understanding.

The show is produced on the initiative of the Regina Multicultural Council and focuses on promoting multicultural values.

The first episode featured guests John Findura, executive director of the Regina Multicultural Council and the “Mosaic Festival,” and Terry Zvarich, festival director and vice president of the council. They emphasized that the project serves as an important platform for promoting multicultural values, strengthening community ties, and amplifying diverse voices. They also highlighted the importance of major cultural events like the Mosaic Festival and their role in community life.

The program, hosted by Farajova, has quickly gained strong interest within the community.

It airs every Friday from 18:00 to 19:00 on AccessNow Radio 91.3 CJTR.
