Fuad Muradov, Chairman of Azerbaijan’s State Committee on Work with the Diaspora, received Fuad Ibrahimov, head of the Azerbaijani Language and Culture Center operating under the Maxim Tank Belarusian State University.
The committee chairman emphasized that Azerbaijani communities and compatriots living abroad are under the attention of President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva. He praised their active efforts to integrate closely into local society, promote the realities of Azerbaijan, and raise awareness of the country’s rich cultural heritage and culture.
Muradov noted the important role of the diaspora in developing relations between countries and shared recommendations regarding future activities.
Fuad Ibrahimov was then presented with the Medal of the Republic of Azerbaijan “For Services to Diaspora Activities.”
Expressing his deep gratitude to the Azerbaijani state for the recognition of his work, Ibrahimov said he would continue his efforts to further develop bilateral relations between the two countries and make the activities of the Azerbaijani diaspora more organized.
