Athletes from Dmanisi achieved strong results at an international Kickboxing K-1 tournament held in Kars, Türkiye, from August 8 to 10.
Five athletes from the Dmanisi Kickboxing K-1 Club, led by honored coach Tuccar Aliyev, participated in the tournament. Four Dmanisi athletes competing for professional belts won their bouts and claimed the titles, while one athlete finished in second place.
Yusif Nazarov, competing in the 38 kg category, Khayal Huseynov in the 35 kg category, Khayal Nasibov in the 32 kg category and Jasur Humbatov in the 22 kg category all took first place.
Ali Huseynov, competing in the 48 kg category, finished second.
Thus, all participants from the Dmanisi Kickboxing K-1 Club won medals and successfully represented the region at the tournament.
