Chairman of Azerbaijan’s State Committee on Work with the Diaspora Fuad Muradov has met with diaspora activist Zaur Bayramli, who lives in the U.S. state of Virginia.
Welcoming the guest, the committee chairman emphasized that Azerbaijani communities abroad have always received special attention and support from President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva. He praised the commitment of Azerbaijanis living abroad to the ideas of Azerbaijanism and national values, and highlighted the importance of initiatives carried out by diaspora activists in their countries of residence.
Thanking the chairman for the warm reception, Zaur Bayramli spoke about efforts to organize Azerbaijanis living in the United States, particularly in Virginia, develop ties with local public and political circles, and promote Azerbaijan’s history, culture and national and spiritual values.
The meeting also focused on expanding the activities of the Azerbaijani diaspora in the United States, protecting national interests and strengthening unity among Azerbaijanis living abroad.
