The Turkish city of Bursa once again showcased the enduring friendship and brotherhood between Azerbaijan and Türkiye while celebrating the richness of Azerbaijani culture. A cultural event was organized by the Kharibulbul Choir of the Bursa Azerbaijan Innovation and Solidarity Association.
Speaking at the event, Latifa Naghdaliyeva, Chairwoman of the Bursa Azerbaijan Innovation and Solidarity Association, Javid Aydin, Chairman of the Eskişehir Azerbaijanis Association and Vice Chairman of the Federation of Azerbaijani Associations, and Ahmet Aras, Deputy Mayor of Yıldırım Municipality, highlighted the strong ties between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, emphasizing their shared history, language, and cultural values.
The artistic program featured Azerbaijani folk songs, works by prominent composers, and traditional ashug music. Colorful stage performances inspired by the immortal operetta Arshin Mal Alan by the great composer Uzeyir Hajibeyli created a lively atmosphere and received enthusiastic applause from the audience.
The event brought together public officials, leaders of non-governmental organizations, representatives of associations and federations, and numerous art enthusiasts. In addition to showcasing Azerbaijan's rich cultural heritage on an international stage, it served as a vivid example of the national and cultural solidarity of Azerbaijanis living in Türkiye.
At the conclusion of the event, guests noted that such initiatives further strengthen the unbreakable bonds of brotherhood between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, play an important role in passing their shared historical and cultural heritage on to future generations, and promote greater mutual respect and understanding between the two peoples. The evening left participants with lasting impressions, ensuring that Azerbaijani music and culture will be fondly remembered in Bursa for years to come.
