A member of the Azerbaijani diaspora living in South Korea, Rahil Ahmadova, has been awarded an honorary certificate by the Ministry of Justice of the South Korea.
The award was presented by Jung Sung-ho during the 19th “Together Day” (World People’s Day) ceremony held in Seoul.
The Ministry of Justice highly praised Ahmadova’s efforts to support the integration of foreign residents into local society, promote intercultural dialogue, and serve as a bridge between Korea and the wider international community.
Speaking about the recognition, Ahmadova described the award as both a great honor and a responsibility:
“When I arrived in Korea 18 years ago, the language and culture were unfamiliar to me. Today, Korea has become an important part of my life and my second homeland. This award is not only recognition of my work but also of all foreigners living in Korea and the value of diversity. As an Azerbaijani, I am proud to represent my country in Korea in a достойный manner.”
For many years, the Azerbaijani businesswoman and head of the company “Korever,” Rahil Ahmadova, has been actively involved in promoting multiculturalism, supporting migrant integration, and strengthening ties between Korea and other countries. She is also an honorary citizen of Seoul, a lecturer on cultural diversity, and an adviser on foreign residents at South Korea’s Ministry of Justice.
