A roundtable dedicated to May 28 – Azerbaijan’s Independence Day was held in the Kostanay Region of Kazakhstan, organized by the Azerbaijani community association “Birlik.”
The event focused on discussions about the independence histories of the two countries, the preservation of national values, and the role of young people in strengthening Azerbaijan–Kazakhstan relations.
In his remarks, the association’s chairman, Rafael Hajibalayev, spoke about the paths to independence of both Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan. He emphasized the importance of friendship, brotherhood, and strategic cooperation based on the shared historical ties between the two nations.
At the conclusion of the event, young people who had distinguished themselves through active participation in community activities were presented with certificates of honor and letters of appreciation.
