A festive event dedicated to June 1 – International Children's Day was held in Marneuli, jointly organized by the Azerbaijan House and the Georgian Azerbaijanis Integration Center.
As part of the celebration, an art exhibition titled “My Soul That Remained a Child” by artist Khayala Mustafayeva was presented. The exhibition was dedicated to children and featured works highlighting childhood and creativity.
Director of the Azerbaijan House and GAIM, Mahabbat Imanov, spoke about the significance of International Children's Day and praised Khayala Mustafayeva’s artistic work. He noted that such initiatives support the development of children's creative abilities and promote national and cultural values.
Khayala Mustafayeva provided information about the exhibited artworks, explaining that their central theme was children. She emphasized the importance of encouraging and supporting the creative activities of younger generations.
Other speakers highlighted the important role of education, culture, and the arts in the comprehensive development of children.
The dancers of the Sarvan Folklore Ensemble, operating under GAIM, performed a cultural program featuring Azerbaijani and Georgian national dances.
The celebration also included drawing competitions, games, and various entertainment activities for children. The young participants enjoyed a day filled with fun, memorable experiences, and creative engagement.
