Dräger has signed a five-year strategic agreement with SOCAR Türkiye, Trend reports citing the company.
According to Dräger, the contract covers maintenance and replacement services for stationary gas detectors at the STAR Refinery, which is part of SOCAR Türkiye.
The agreement was signed by Kanan Mirzayev, General Manager of Petkim and Head of the Refining and Petrochemicals Business Unit of SOCAR Türkiye, and Zafer Kaşıkara, General Manager of Dräger Türkiye.
The company noted that this cooperation marks an important step toward ensuring sustainable industrial safety, improving operational excellence, and strengthening long-term partnership.
Dräger also emphasized that it will continue to implement technological solutions to enhance safety standards in industrial facilities, in line with its mission “Technology for Life.”
The STAR Refinery, commissioned in October 2018, integrates oil refining and petrochemical production and is considered one of the largest real-sector investment projects in Türkiye’s economy.
