An art exhibition titled “From Liberation to Victory” dedicated to June 15 – National Salvation Day, along with an information session on “Educational Opportunities in Azerbaijan,” was held through the initiative and organization of the Azerbaijan House and the Integration Center of Azerbaijani Georgians (GAIM) in the city of Marneuli, Georgia.
The event was attended by Fuad Chiragov, Education Counselor at the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Georgia, representatives of the Science and Higher Education Agency under the Ministry of Science and Education of Azerbaijan, staff of the “Study in Azerbaijan” project, as well as teachers and students of GAIM.
The gathering began with a minute of silence in memory of Azerbaijan’s National Leader Heydar Aliyev.
Speakers highlighted the exceptional role of National Salvation Day in preserving Azerbaijani statehood, restoring socio-political stability, and setting the country on a path of sustainable development.
Director of the Azerbaijan House and GAIM, Mahabbat Imanov, noted that National Leader Heydar Aliyev, returning to power at the request of the people, successfully overcame the crisis and chaos that prevailed in the country through his far-sighted policies and laid the foundations for Azerbaijan’s development. It was emphasized that this political course is being successfully continued under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, while Azerbaijan’s international standing continues to grow.
The event also featured an exhibition of artworks by GAIM art teacher Khayala Mustafayeva. The exhibition attracted significant interest from young people, and the works on display were noted for their importance in promoting the historical significance of National Salvation Day and fostering patriotic values.
The program concluded with an information session on “Educational Opportunities in Azerbaijan.” Participants received detailed information about Azerbaijan’s higher education system, academic programs, and the opportunities available to students.
