Two Azerbaijani athletes have become champions of the Georgian championship among boxers under the age of 15.
Ramil Mahmudov won the title in the 52 kg weight category by defeating his opponent, Ilya Sanikidze, in the final.
Jasur Gahramanov, representing the city of Rustavi and competing in the 46 kg weight category, claimed victory over his Armenian opponent, Nodar Oganjanyan, and was awarded the title of national champion.
This latest achievement by young and junior boxers demonstrates the growing interest in sports among the Azerbaijani community living in Georgia, as well as the development of professional skills. The victory is part of the community’s consistent contribution to the regional sports movement and serves as motivation for future generations.
