Women’s day cultural event held in Antalya

An event titled “March 8 – International Women’s Day Cultural Exhibition and Conference Program” was held in Antalya, Turkiye.

The event was organized by the Antalya Azerbaijan Culture and Solidarity Association in cooperation with the AK Party Antalya Women's Branch, the Department for Relations with Turkic States of the AK Party Antalya Women's Branch, Akdeniz University, and the Antalya Maturation Institute.

In his opening speech, the founder and chairman of the Antalya Azerbaijan Culture and Solidarity Association, Azer Ismayil, highlighted the important role of women in the development of society, emphasizing that women's contributions in culture, education, and various areas of social life have always been significant.

Speakers at the event included the rector of Akdeniz University, Professor Ozlenen Ozkan; the head of health policy at the AK Party Women's Branch, Associate Professor Esma Atasoy; the chairwoman of the AK Party Antalya Women's Branch, Gulcin Ozboz; doctors Mahru Nurullayeva and Aynur Gok; and the director of the Antalya Maturation Institute, Emine Erkal.

They shared their views on the role of women in society, as well as their participation in health, education, and social life.

The event also featured an artistic program, which was warmly received by the audience.

At the end of the program, organizers expressed gratitude to all institutions and participants who supported the event.
