BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 11. Georgia recorded a significant increase in the number of visitors traveling from Uzbekistan in May 2022,Trendreports via Georgian National Tourism Administration.
The number of visitors arriving in Georgia from Uzbekistan in May 2022 amounted to 5,281 people, which is about a two-fold increase compared to the same month of 2021.
Thus, Uzbekistan ranked 13 among the main countries of origin for people arriving in Georgia in May 2022.
Turkey ranked first (60,184 visitors), followed by Russia (51,561), and Armenia (42,606).
Meanwhile, the total number of visitors arriving in Georgia in May 2022 amounted to 359,238 people, which is three times more compared to the same month in 2021 (109,359).
