BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 23. The Lebap production department of Turkmenistan’s Turkmengas State Concern increased the export of liquefied natural gas (LNG) for 2022, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmen media.
During the reporting period, the department exported more than 103,400 tons of LNG. The plan for the export of products was exceeded by 6.4 percent.
The plan provided for the export of LNG in the amount of more than 97,100 tons.
Most of the products manufactured by the department in 2022 were exported to Afghanistan.
Turkmenistan ranks among the world's leading countries in terms of oil and gas reserves. Its gas reserves have increased by 126 billion cubic meters as a result of the industrial development of recently discovered fields.
