TEHRAN, Iran, October 28. The production in Iran’s industrial sector had a 5.1-percent growth in the first three months of the current Iranian year (started March 21, 2022), Trend reports citing Fars News Agency.
The Statistical Center of Iran released reports showing that the industrial sector had the highest growth rate of 3.4 percent in the economy and is estimated to have proper growth in the second three months of the current year.
According to the report, most industrial products had significant growth in terms of manufacturing, in the first five months of the current Iranian year, including steel (9.9 percent), steel products (8 percent), tractors (53 percent), buses (14.7 percent), pesticides (11 percent), TVs (21 percent) and petrochemicals (6.2 percent).
The non-oil exports reached $42 billion with a 13-percent growth, while imports declined to $2 billion in the first half of the current year.
