BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 26. The volume of milk production by private enterprises in the Lebap region in the east of Turkmenistan from January through September 2022 has been published, Trend reports with reference to Jeyhun News.
During this period, the region's enterprises produced 1,374 tons of milk, which is 4.7 percent more than in the first 9 months of 2021.
A significant part of the production was manufactured by Bereketli jay enterprise. The enterprise produced 260 tons of milk from January through September this year.
Furthermore, at the moment a lot of work is being done in Turkmenistan to develop animal husbandry, increase the number of livestock, manufacture meat and dairy products, and strengthen the feed base of the industry. The improvement of local livestock enterprises continues.
Most of the livestock production is accounted for by the private sector of Turkmenistan.
