BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 24. Turkmen Guwlyduz enterprise, located in the Balkan region in the west of Turkmenistan, produced 72,500 tons of salt from January through September 2022, Trend reports with reference to the Business Turkmenistan website.
The company exceeded the salt production plan by 3.8 percent during the specified period.
From the extracted products, the company manufactured 64,500 tons of granular salt in the first 9 months of this year, which is 3,600 tons more than planned.
Furthermore, during the specified period, the volume of packaged salt by the Guwlyduz enterprise amounted to 23,200 tons, and the plan for its production was exceeded by 52.1 percent.
According to the data, the reserves of deposits of raw materials for production exceed 40 million tons. Currently, iodization of the salt extracted here has been established.
Guwlyduz Enterprise of the Turkmenhimiya State Concern occupies a leading position in Central Asia, as well as the fourth place in the world in salt production.
