BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 29. Tajikistan hosted a meeting on the current portfolio review of projects funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) on October 28, Trend reports citing the State Committee on investment and state property management of Tajikistan.
During the meeting, the Chairman of the State Committee on Investments and State Property Management Sadi Qodirzoda, ADB Country Director in Tajikistan Shanny Campbell, Deputy Minister of Finance of Tajikistan Yusuf Majidi evaluated the effectiveness of the implementation of current projects.
"As of October 1, 2022, ADB is implementing 17 public investment projects worth more than $930 million, including: 4 energy projects, 3 transport projects, 3 agriculture projects, 3 water supply and irrigation projects, 2 education projects and 2 healthcare projects," the committee reports.
Meanwhile, at the end of the meeting, parties expressed their readiness to further strengthen bilateral cooperation.
