BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 31. The value of Russian sunflower oil supplies to Tajikistan decreased from January through September 2022, Trend reports with reference to the Customs Service of Tajikistan.
According to statistics, Tajikistan in 9 months of this year imported sunflower oil from Russia in the amount of $14.7 million, which is almost a threefold decrease over the same period in 2021 ($41.1 million).
During the reporting period, the total amount of Tajik imports of sunflower oil amounted to $51.4 million, with a large portion imported from Kazakhstan for $31.4 million.
Meanwhile, the total value of goods imported from Russia to Tajikistan from January through September 2022 reached $1.1 billion, which is an increase of 28.4 percent over the same period in 2021 ($856.5 million).
