A charity campaign was held through the joint initiative and organization of the “Azerbaijan House” operating in Marneuli and the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Georgia, with the support of the Azerbaijan Diaspora Support Fund.
As part of the campaign organized on the occasion of December 31 – World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day and the New Year, food aid was distributed to low-income families, elderly individuals, and people suffering from illnesses.
Representatives of the Georgian Muslim Administration, the Georgian office of the Caucasus Muslims Board, the “Khari Bulbul” charity organization, the Supreme Religious Administration of Muslims of All Georgia, and other religious community leaders also took part in delivering the social assistance.
Director of the Azerbaijan House, Mahabbat Imanov, emphasized the particular importance of supporting socially vulnerable families, noting that such charity initiatives help strengthen unity and solidarity within society.
Javid Maharramov, a responsible official at the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Georgia, conveyed holiday greetings from Ambassador Faig Guliyev. He stated that the main goal of the initiative was to reinforce social solidarity ahead of the New Year and World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day, while providing both moral and material support to those in need.
Participants involved in the distribution of aid expressed their gratitude to the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Georgia, the Azerbaijan House, and the Azerbaijan Diaspora Support Fund for their attention and care, stressing the importance of continuing such charitable initiatives in the future.
