BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 27. The trade turnover between Turkmenistan and China amounted to $1.73 billion from January through February 2023, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmen media.
According to the information, this is 10.1 percent more than in the first two months of last year.
Most of the trade turnover was accounted for by Turkmen exports. Turkmenistan exported products worth more than $1.61 billion to China from January through February 2023, which is 11 percent more than in the same period of 2022.
During the same period, Turkmenistan imported Chinese goods worth more than $ 40.17 million, which is 1.6 percent less compared to the corresponding period last year.
Meanwhile, the main component of Turkmenistan's exports to China is natural gas supplied through pipelines.
