The volume of foreign and mutual trade in goods, according to preliminary data, in January 2023 amounted to about $835 million and increased by 1.2% compared to the same period last year, First Deputy Chairman of the National Statistical Committee Ainura Orozbayeva told at a briefing.
According to her data, at the same time, in the structure of trade, exports accounted for 15%, imports - 85%.
The volume of mutual trade with the EAEU member states in January 2023 amounted to $268.5 million and decreased by 9.6% compared to January 2022. The largest share of the republic's mutual trade during this period fell on Russia (60.3%) and Kazakhstan (36.8%).
The volume of foreign trade with third countries (outside the EAEU) amounted to $566.2 million and increased by 43.2% compared to January 2022.
