BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 13. Uzbekistan and Germany agreed at a recent meeting to boost trade and economic cooperation, Trend reports via Uzbek Foreign Ministry.
The matter was discussed between the acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Germany to Uzbekistan, Tilo Klinner.
During the meeting, the parties discussed questions of creating joint enterprises as well as diversification of trade turnover between the countries.
Moreover, Uzbekistan and Germany touched upon the perspectives of cooperation in culture, education, and science fields.
At the same time, the sides exchanged views on organizational and substantive aspects of the planned events in bilateral and multilateral formats.
