BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 19. Russian citizens purchased 16,312 units of real estate property in Türkiye from in 2022, which is 10,933 more than in 2021, the Turkish Land Registry and Cadastre told TurkicWorld, Trend reports.
Citizens of Russia bought 2,403 real estate properties in Türkiye in December 2022, which is 1,548 more than in the same period of 2021.
Russian citizens ranked third among citizens of foreign countries who purchased real estate properties in Türkiye in 2019, while in 2018, Russians ranked fourth.
A total of 1,486,622 real estate objects were sold in Türkiye in 2022, which is 0.4 percent less than in 2021.
In addition, a total of 67,490 properties were sold to foreigners in Türkiye, which is 15.1 percent less than in 2021.
