Chairman of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora Fuad Muradov received Gulaga Rzayev, head of the “Namus” Ethnocultural Association operating in the Karaganda region of Kazakhstan.
The chairman emphasized that Azerbaijani communities and compatriots living abroad remain in the focus of President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva. He highly appreciated the active integration of compatriots into local societies, as well as their efforts in promoting Azerbaijani realities and introducing the country’s rich cultural heritage and traditions. He noted the significant role of the diaspora in strengthening bilateral relations between countries and shared recommendations regarding future activities.
Gulaga Rzayev was then awarded the “For Service in Diaspora Activities” medal of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Expressing deep gratitude to the Azerbaijani state for the high recognition of his work, Rzayev stated that he would continue to spare no effort in advancing bilateral relations between the countries and ensuring a more organized and effective diaspora activity.
