An event titled “The Name of Revival: Karabakh” was held in Bursa to mark the 5th anniversary of the Karabakh Victory.
The event was organized jointly by the Bursa Azerbaijan Innovation and Solidarity Association and the Bursa Uludağ University Azerbaijan Culture and Art Association.
Participants were first introduced to an art exhibition focused on Azerbaijan–Turkey brotherhood.
Then, the national anthems of both countries were played, followed by a one-minute silence in honor of the martyrs.
Lətifə Nağdalıyeva, chair of the Bursa Azerbaijan Innovation and Solidarity Association, emphasized that the Karabakh Victory was achieved thanks to the leadership of Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev and the sacrifices of martyrs and veterans.
Murad Böyükxanov, head of the Bursa Uludağ University Azerbaijan Culture and Art Association, noted that the victory serves as a source of national pride for the youth. Mustafa Berkay Aydın, chair of Bursa Nilüfer City Council, spoke about the strategic and cultural significance of the victory.
Representatives of political parties, Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, and other officials highlighted the unbreakable brotherhood between Turkey and Azerbaijan.
The program included the “1 Martyr, 1 Story, 1 Poem” project led by former Turkish parliament member and writer Faruk Anbarcıoğlu, as well as presentations, video clips, and musical performances about the historical and strategic importance of Karabakh.
Students’ theatrical sketches and traditional dances received enthusiastic applause from the audience.
