BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 26. Data on salt production by the Guwlyduz enterprise, located in the Balkan region in western Turkmenistan from January through November 2022 has been published, Trend reports with reference to the Business Turkmenistan website.
According to the information, during the reporting period, the enterprise produced over 88,000 tons of salt, exceeding the plan by three percent.
The reserves of deposits of raw materials for production exceed 40 million tons. Currently, the iodization of the salt extracted here has been established.
In addition to food salt, the company also manufactures technical salt, which is widely used in the fuel and energy complex for the purification of petroleum products.
At the same time, this product is used by textile enterprises to prevent the premature fading of yarn.
Guwlyduz Enterprise of the Turkmenhimiya State Concern occupies a leading position in Central Asia, as well as fourth place in the world in salt production.
