World Azerbaijani Solidarity Day marked in Ottawa

An event dedicated to December 31 – World Azerbaijani Solidarity Day was held in Ottawa, the capital of Canada. The celebration was organized by the Azerbaijani Students Association (AzSA), which brings together Azerbaijani students living in Canada.

The event was attended by members of the Azerbaijani community in Canada, Azerbaijan’s Chargé d’Affaires in Canada Vusal Suleymanov, representatives of diaspora organizations from various countries, as well as guests from Toronto and Montreal.

The program featured Azerbaijani national music and traditional folk dances. Presentations and speeches dedicated to Azerbaijan’s history, culture, and national heritage were met with great interest. One of the most memorable moments of the evening was a patriotic artistic performance prepared by students of the “Karabakh” Azerbaijani language school operating in Ottawa.

At the conclusion of the event, participants were treated to a selection of rich and flavorful dishes from Azerbaijani national cuisine.

The event played an important role in promoting Azerbaijani national identity, cultural heritage, and spiritual values on an international platform.
