The Azerbaijani Community operating in the US state of Maine organized a festive event dedicated to December 31 – World Azerbaijani Solidarity Day and the New Year. The event brought together members of the Azerbaijani community living in the states of Maine and Massachusetts, as well as representatives of the local public.
The artistic program featured performances of national dances by Azerbaijani choreographer Sabina Najafzadeh, as well as a stage performance by DJ Rafon. The performances were met with great interest and applause from the audience.
Participants emphasized that such gatherings play an important role in strengthening unity among Azerbaijanis living abroad, preserving and promoting national values and cultural heritage, and fostering cultural ties with local communities. They also expressed hopes that 2026 would bring peace, understanding, and harmony to the world.
At the end of the event, Santa Claus distributed gifts to children.
