BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 20. Turkmenistan exceeded the production plan for the extraction and export of natural gas from January through November 2022, Trend reports with reference to the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
This was announced by the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Shakhym Abdrakhmanov at an expanded meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
According to him, during the reporting period, the plan for the extraction of natural and associated gas in Turkmenistan was fulfilled by 113.6 percent, and for the production of liquefied gas - 107 percent.
Moreover, the Deputy Chairman noted that the plan for the export of natural gas was fulfilled by 124.7 percent.
Turkmenistan ranks among the world's leading countries in terms of oil and gas reserves. Its gas reserves have increased by 126 billion cubic meters as a result of the industrial development of recently discovered gas fields.
