TEHRAN, Iran, July 19. Iran's main priority is to develop the export of technical and engineering services and knowledge-based products, said Deputy Minister of Industries, Mine and Trade Alireza Peyman Pak, Trend reports citing IRNA.
"The first step is to expand the market and then solve the obstacles to improve foreign trade," he said during a meeting with members of the Tehran Chamber of Commerce.
The Iranian government has drafted a road map to double non-oil export targeting $75 billion in export by 2025.
According to the official export to neighboring countries is the priority and Iran is negotiating free trade agreements with several countries.
Iran is negotiating with Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) to upgrade the Preferential Trade Agreement (PTA) already reached between the two sides to a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) by November, the deputy minister stressed.
