The traditional Turkish Festival was held in Sydney, Australia. Alongside the Azerbaijani community, Turkish, Uzbek, Kazakh, Kyrgyz, and Tatar communities showcased their music and culture at the festival.
A special corner dedicated to Azerbaijan was set up as part of the festival. Here, examples of the country’s rich cultural heritage and national music were displayed.
At the event, dance and songs from Azerbaijan were performed by the “Odlar Yurdu” group led by Azerbaijan’s Honored Artist Sevinc Huseynli, and by Shehla Humbatova. Their performances were met with applause.
