Fuad Muradov, Chairman of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora of the Republic of Azerbaijan, met with Lörinc Nacsa, Hungarian State Secretary for National Policy within the framework of his visit to Budapest.
Committee Chairman drew attention to the diaspora policy carried out under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev. He provided detailed information about Azerbaijan Houses abroad, Azerbaijani weekend schools, the Coordination Councils and a number of other projects. It was noted that the Azerbaijani community in Hungary contributes to the development of bilateral relations between our peoples, who share common historical roots, through the projects it implements.
Lörinc Nacsa warmly welcomed the Azerbaijani delegation, emphasized the importance of the meeting and the exchange of experience. The sides exchanged extensive views on modern diaspora strategy, future plans and cooperation platforms.
The meeting was also attended by Tahir Taghizadeh, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Hungary, and Ibrahim Safarli, Head of the Azerbaijan House in Budapest.
