BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 10. Kazakhstan will attract 22,200 foreign employees in 2023, which equals 0.24 percent of the total workforce of the country, Trend reports, citing the press service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population of Kazakhstan.
The quota is divided into 4 categories, with 949 permissions being reserved for the first category, which includes managers and their deputies.
Around 5,313 work permits will be issued for heads of structural divisions, who constitute the second category of employees.
In the framework of the third category around 10,818 specialists will be invited to work in Kazakhstan, while the remaining 2,100 workers will be employed under the fourth category reserved for skilled employees.
Kazakhstan issued and extended 13,400 work permits for foreigners in 2022. Currently, 13,951 foreign citizens are employed by Kazakh companies and enterprises.
