BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 15. Kazakhstan’s foreign trade accounted for $110.6 billion from January through October 2022, Trend reports, citing the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan.
Exports accounted for $71.1 billion, a 34.1 percent increase compared to the same period in 2021. Some $12.2 billion worth of goods and services were exported to the CIS states, while the share of the remaining states’ in Kazakh exports amounted to $58.8 billion.
Meanwhile, Kazakhstan's imports reached 39.4 billion, which is an 18.4 percent increase. Around $17.1 worth of goods were imported from CIS states and $22.3 billion from other countries.
Mineral production exports accounted for 69.1 percent of the total export structure, while 39.2 percent of total imports share consists of machinery, transportation vehicles, and appliances.
