BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 31.The number of transactions from Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan amounted to 2,400 for a total amount of 1.2 billion tenge ($2.7 million) in September, Trend reports via the National Bank of Kazakhstan.
The share of Azerbaijan amounted to 1.1 percent of the total number of money transfers from Kazakhstan and 1.3 percent of the total amount of transfers.
The number of transactions remained unchanged, while their amount decreased by 9 percent compared to August 2022.
The number of money transfers from Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan decreased by 14.2 percent, and their amount - by 7.2 percent compared to September the previous year.
A total of 225,700 transactions worth 93.9 billion tenge ($198.8 million) were made from Kazakhstan abroad in September 2022.
The number and volume of sent money transfers decreased by 7.4 percent and 9 percent compared to August 2022, respectively.
The number and volume of sent money transfers decreased by 3.8 percent and 3.4 percent compared to September the previous year, respectively.
