EIA updates Kazakhstan’s daily petroleum and liquids production forecast

BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 9. Kazakhstan is expected to produce around 2.01 million barrels per day of petroleum and other liquids production on average, Trend reports, citing the US Energy Information Administration (EIA).

The agency’s forecast means the increase of an average daily output by 171,000 tons per day, compared to 2022.

The output in 1Q2023 and 4Q2023 will be the highest, with 2.04 and 2.05 million barrels of petroleum and other liquids expected to be produced daily in these timeframes. Meanwhile, the production in 2Q2023 and 3Q2023 will amount to 1.98 million barrels per day in both quarters.

The forecast projects a further increase in daily production to 2.06 million barrels in 2024. The production level is expected to remain steady throughout the year, with a slight increase to 2.1 million barrels per day in 4Q2024.

On the other end of the spectrum, the lowest production of 2.02 million barrels per day will be recorded in 3Q2024.
