Kyrgyzstan shares data on gasoline imports from Russia for 2022

BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 18. The value of Kyrgyzstan’s imports of gasoline from Russia dropped slightly in 2022, compared to the preceding year, Trend reports via the State Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan.

In the reporting period, Kyrgyzstan imported gasoline from Russia for $340 million, which is a 10-percent decrease from the indicators for 2021 ($378 million).

According to the statistical data, the volume of Russian gasoline exports to Kyrgyzstan totaled 757 million liters in 2022. Meanwhile, Kyrgyzstan imported from Russia some 911 million liters of gasoline in 2021.

In general, the value of Kyrgyzstan’s gasoline imports amounted to $347 million in 2022, decreasing by 11 percent from $388 million in 2021.

Furthermore, from January through December 2022, Kyrgyzstan also bought gasoline from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.

According to the analytical resource Global Petrol Prices, Kyrgyzstan was the 22nd country in the world in terms of cheap gasoline prices and ranked 23rd in terms of diesel fuel prices in 2022.
