BAKU,Azerbaijan, January 3. Tajikistan was the main cement-exporting country for Uzbekistan during January through November 2022, Trend reports citing the Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
The remaining exporters were: Russia, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Iran, and Turkmenistan.
According to the statistics, Uzbekistan imported 2.1 million tons of cement worth $87.4 million from January through November 2022.
Uzbekistan’s volume of cement import decreased by 420,000 tons, compared to the same period last year.
Uzbekistan's top cement-importing source countries in 11M2022:
Tajikistan – 903,000 tons
Kyrgyzstan – 623,500 tons
Kazakhstan – 558,600 tons
Iran – 17,600 tons
Turkmenistan – 12,700 tons
China - 1,400 tons
Russia – 1,100 tons
