BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 7. Iran's non-oil trade turnover amounted to 127 million tons worth about $84 billion, during the nine months of the current Iranian government (August 23, 2021 through May 21, 2022), the Spokesman for the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) Rouhollah Latifi said, Trend reports citing the administration.
According to Latifi, trade turnover increased by 36 percent in value and 8 percent in volume compared to the previous 9 months.
The spokesman said that in 9 months, Iran exported 94.3 million tons of non-oil products worth about $39.5 billion, which is an increase of 31 percent in value and 3 percent in volume compared to the previous 9 months.
“Furthermore, Iran imported 32.5 million tons of goods worth about $44.5 billion in 9 months. This is an increase of 41 percent in value and 29 percent in volume compared to the previous 9 months,” he noted.
