BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 22. The Turkish ports handled over 3.05 million tons of cargo from Singapore from January through November 2022, the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure told TurkicWorld, Trend reports.
Ships flying under the Turkish flag delivered 1,532 tons of cargo from Singapore to the ports, while ships flying under the flags of other countries – 2.88 million tons.
During the reporting period, ships flying the flag of Singapore delivered 174,893 tons of cargo to Turkish ports.
Some 963,762 tons of cargo from Singapore were transited through Turkish ports from January through November 2022.
Over 31,16 million tons of cargo were transshipped through Turkish ports in November 2022, 2.05 million tons of cargo were handled by ships flying the Turkish flag, and more than 2.11 million tons - by ships flying the flags of other countries.
More than 6.75 million tons of cargo were transited through the Turkish ports during the accounting period.
Turkish ports handled over 361 million tons of cargo in general from January through November 2022.
Cargo transportation through the ports by ships flying the Turkish flag amounted to 25.7 million tons, and by ships flying the flags of other countries - 336.1 million tons.
Turkish ports handled 73.7 million tons of transit cargo from January through November 2022.
