BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 5. The number of visitors traveling from Azerbaijan to Georgia significantly increased in October 2022, Trend reports with reference to the National Tourism Administration of Georgia.
According to statistics, the number of visitors arriving in Georgia from Azerbaijan in October this year amounted to 13,719 people, which is an increase of 64.1 percent over the same month in 2021 (8,358 people).
Thus, Azerbaijan ranked 7th among countries in the world in terms of the number of visitors to Georgia in October 2022.
During this month, Russia ranked first (109,158 people), followed by Türkiye (81,033 people) and Armenia (72,877 people).
Meanwhile, the total number of visitors to Georgia in October this year amounted to 498,477 people, which is more than a twofold increase compared to the same month of last year (220,705 people).
