BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 31. Georgia's car re-export to Tajikistan increased from January through September 2022, Trend reports with reference to the National Statistics Office of Georgia.
According to statistics, the re-export of cars from Georgia to Tajikistan in 9 months of this year increased by 61.1 percent over the same period in 2021 ($5.4 million) - up to $8.7 million.
During the reporting period, Georgia re-exported 1,470 cars to Tajikistan, which is almost a twofold increase compared to the corresponding period of last year (760 cars).
Overall, the total re-export of cars from Georgia from January through September 2022 increased by 74.8 percent compared to the same period in 2021 ($337.6 million) - up to $590.4 million.
