TEHRAN, Iran, November 10. Iran has signed a $40-billion agreement with Russian Gazprom, said Minister of Petroleum Javad Owji, Trend reports citing IRNA.
Speaking to reporters, Owji has also pointed out a $4 billion contract signed between Iran and Russia for the development of gas fields and gas export.
He also pointed out the establishment of LNG complexes, which is a part of the deal with Gazprom.
According to the official, Russian companies such as ZN Vostok and Gazprom are investing in Iran and the country has started to pursue gas swap for winter months.
