TEHRAN, Iran, November 8. Iran Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade has a precise plan to import cars in the second half of the current Iranian year (started March 21, 2022), Trend reports citing IRNA.
The statement released by the ministry indicates that vehicles will be imported into the auto market in the the second half of the year.
The necessary mechanisms for auto-import have been set to boost domestic production and reduce the chaos in the market.
Reports show the domestic auto production quality has improved in the first half of the year.
More than 350 local companies have applied for auto imports, based on the ministry’s instructions, and are being evaluated.
The ministry has collaborated with other organizations for auto import including the Interior Ministry, the Central Bank of Iran, the Securities and Exchange Organization, Plan and Budget Organization.
