TEHRAN, Iran, October 28. Iran's production of buses and minibuses had a 78-percent and 6-percent growth respectively, during the first seven months of the current Iranian year (started March 21, 2022), said director general of auto industries in the Ministry of Industries, Mine and Trade of Iran Abdollah Tavakoli Lahijani, Trend reports citing IRNA.
Automakers' production capacity has increased following the ministry’s plan to encourage various organizations to supply the needs of automakers since the end of last Iranian year (started March 21, 2021), he said.
The official underlined the need to import spare parts and materials to produce new buses.
