TEHRAN, Iran, October 13. Iran will eliminate car lotteries by the end of the current Iranian year (started March 21,2022) and automakers will sell products without public draw, said the Minister of Industry Mine and Trade Reza Fatemi Amin, Trend reports citing Mehr News Agency.
"SAIPA Group has removed its products from car lotteries," he said, adding that Iran Khodro (IKCO) has also removed Haima model from sale and plans to end sale of Tara model as well.
Iran’s auto production experienced a 280-percent growth during the first five months of the current Iranian year (started March 21,2022), he pointed out.
According to the official, a total of 240 million auto parts have received tracking code to monitor sale and prevent high prices that set by dealers.
