In general, over 12,500 international flights (passenger planes only) were carried out through Iranian airports during the first six months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through September 22, 2022), compared to the same period last Iranian year, as was reflected in the statistics of Iran Airports and Air Navigation Company (IAC), Trend reports.
Meanwhile, in the same period of last Iranian year, the figure stood at nearly 5,000.
