TEHRAN, Iran, September 1. Iranian auto company, Azin Khodro, has reached an agreement with Russian companies to export auto parts to Russia, Managing Director of Azin Khodro Reza Rezaei told Trend.
He said Azin Khodro reached a deal with Russians on joint production and export of auto parts during an auto exhibition in Moscow.
"It has been agreed that the Iranian automaker will produce heavy auto parts in Russia with the cooperation of Russian automakers, while small auto parts will be produced in Iran and exported to Russia," he said.
According to the official, production and export of parts will be done exclusively for Russian cars. Azin Khodro has negotiated with two state-owned Russian automakers - LADA and KAMAZ.
Around 50 Iranian companies from the automotive sector showcased their parts and equipment in Russia's auto exhibition.
